Harry Ruddock III

Thank you for being interested in my work.  I have been painting local scenes for over 25 years now in a variety of medium with the past 20 years devoted to watercolors.  I live in Deerfield and am a life member of the Deerfield Valley Art Association and also belong to other watercolor societies and painting groups based in New England.  You may have seen my work in these local shows as well as other venues such as; Plymouth Center for the Arts in Plymouth, The Eastside Grille in Northampton, or local Libraries such as the Hosmer Gallery at the Forbes Library, and the Agawam Library. I have won awards for my work throughout the years including one for “Best of Show”, 1st place in the Chicopee Library Show, 2015, a second Place in the DVAA “Bridges of the Pioneer Valley” show in 2014 and a 3rd place in the Agawam Library annual show, 2014. I am largely a self taught artist but have attended art studies at Greenfield Community College and I have studied with other local artists.

My Watercolors usually depict common New England Scenes, of people engaged in common activities of the area.  Many locals will recognize these places. My paintings are the result of daily observation of my surroundings, the people, nature and how they all interact with one another.  I hope you enjoy my work.  I can be reached by e-mail at card32@comcast.net.
